Who We Are
Rainbow Rescue Mission was born from love, legacy, and a promise of hope.
We are a community-driven nonprofit dedicated to supporting elderly individuals, people with disabilities, and single parents in underserved areas of Jamaica. Our work is inspired by two powerful figures: Alphanso Seaton, a beloved grandfather and devoted deacon who lived to serve others with kindness and humility, and Rainbow, the nickname lovingly given to our founder’s daughter—a symbol of God’s promise and the light that follows every storm.
Alphanso Seaton was a pillar of his community, known for his unwavering compassion and his belief that no one should be left behind. His spirit lives on in everything we do. Rainbow, with her name rooted in faith and renewal, reminds us daily of the beauty that can emerge from hardship.
Together, their legacy fuels our mission: to bring dignity, relief, and opportunity to those who need it most. Whether it’s delivering essential supplies, offering emotional support, or simply showing up with love—we’re here to make a difference, one family at a time
